Disaster Relief for Carolina Victims

Hello, Good Evening

WVN will be combining efforts to support victims affected by Hurricane Florence. The focus of WVN’s efforts will be in the Wilmington area. Pastor Scott King, WVN Disaster Relief Coordinator, is directing the mission relief effort.

Pastor Scott King met with all 3 departments and the District Advisory Board today. An intentional plan has been put into motion. The district family is asked to begin gathering *supplies immediately. All *supplies are to be delivered to Fairmont 1st on October 12th. WVN *supplies will be loaded onto a truck and depart from Fairmont 1st COTN on October 14th. It is necessary for the disaster response team to have adequate time to load, organize, and pack *supplies -thus the need for drop off on October 12th.

*The following are items being requested:
New packages of underwear and socks (all sizes)
Disposable cameras for insurance claims
Contractor trash bags and cleaning supplies (vinegar, bleach, and disposable gloves are in great demand)
Hand soap and Dawn dishwashing soap
Hygiene items

Diapers
Pet supplies
New towels and blankets
Gift cards and money for victims
