Hello WVN NMI Friends!
In just under a month, Weirton 1st COTN will be sending a Work and Witness team to Campanilla, Peru to begin the construction of a church for the people of the town under the ministry of Katie (Anderson) and Sixto Gaona. The team consists of congregation members from the Weir 1st COTN and Gary & Cindy Bibbee formerly of the Parkersburg Broadway COTN. The team plans to implement evangelistic work while in Peru. The children of Campanilla will be the team’s primary focus. For any individuals or church families wishing to support the team, donations are being welcomed and accepted through District Assembly and Convention. The following are items the team has requested: “nice” writing pens, small note pads, stickers, chapstick / lipgloss (nothing with a dark tint), matchbox cars, hair ribbons / bands / ties, smarties candies, and dum dum suckers
The team will depart August 10th. I ask that WVN join together and begin praying for traveling mercies and for a life changing experience for both the W&W team and the people of Peru.
